Equipando Padres is a program by the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. The Equipando Padres program is designed to fill the parent programming gap by incorporating aspects critical to Hispanic culture and addressing specific challenges of pursuing an engineering career. As a result, familias are positioned to be integral contributors to their student’s success.
SHPE needed a home for their Equipando Padres curriculum and tools that incorporated the different phases of the college preparedness — from high school preparation to college graduation.
We created a single-page website in English and Spanish. This includes videos, a glossary of college-related terms, and additional resources for caregivers of students to access.
